Morgan Gardner, LMFT
I am so glad you are here.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in both Tennessee and California, and I specialize in working with individuals and couples. I believe that therapy is a personal journey, and I aim to create a supportive space that meets each client’s unique needs.
From our very first contact, I focus on building a strong connection with you. To help with this, I offer a free phone consultation for all potential clients. During this call, you can share what’s been going on in your life and what has led you to seek therapy. It’s also a chance for you to learn more about my approach and ask any questions you might have.
Finding the right therapist is an important step in your healing journey. I believe that feeling comfortable with your therapist can make a big difference in your experience. In our consultation, we can talk about your goals for therapy and the challenges you’re facing. My goal is to help you feel confident in your choice and to show you how I can support you.
I want to create a safe space where you can be heard and understood. Whether you’re looking for individual therapy to work through personal issues or couples therapy to improve your relationship, I am here to help you on your path to growth and healing. I look forward to the possibility of working together and helping you achieve your goals.

Approach
I begin our journey by meeting you where you are, creating a supportive space to explore your feelings, experiences, and thoughts. Together, we’ll delve into your life, understanding the challenges you face and the emotions you experience. Our goal is to help you foster fulfillment and unlock the inner strength you already possess.
In our sessions, I provide a safe environment to heal from the past, gain awareness of the present, and envision your desired future. We’ll identify barriers and develop strategies to overcome them. I am here to support you, celebrating your progress and empowering you to embrace the life you deserve. Your journey toward fulfillment begins here, and I look forward to being a part of it.
Trainings
I am trained in Phase One of Brainspotting, a trauma-focused therapy that helps process emotions by accessing deeper parts of the brain. I am also certified in PREPARE/ENRICH, a premarital assessment tool designed to strengthen relationships. Additionally, I have completed Level One of Gottman Couples Therapy, which uses research-based techniques to enhance communication and emotional connection between partners. I am trained in RO-DBT (Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy) for individuals who struggle with "over-controlled" behaviors, and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) for those with "under-controlled" behaviors.
I have experience treating both individuals and couples in various settings. This diverse training equips me to support clients in their healing and growth.
Therapy with me
Starting the therapy process can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to make it as smooth and approachable as possible. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel comfortable opening up and exploring your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. I believe that authenticity is key in therapy, so I bring my own personality into our sessions to foster genuine connections.
Together, we’ll work toward meaningful, lasting change that aligns with your goals, values, and aspirations. You deserve a space where you can be yourself, and I’m committed to helping you navigate this journey with understanding, compassion, and encouragement every step of the way.
