FAQs
What is the therapy process like?
Every therapist has their own way of working with clients, and I’m here to provide a unique approach that fits your needs. As a therapist in Nashville, I understand that starting therapy can feel a bit scary. That’s why I try to make the process as easy and comfortable as possible.
Therapy with me begins with a free phone consultation. This is a chance for us to get to know each other better. During this call, I want to learn about you, your experiences, and what you hope to achieve in therapy. It’s also your opportunity to ask me any questions you might have about Nashville therapy and what it’s like to work with me.
If we both feel that we’re a good fit, we’ll work together to find a time that works best for our first session. I believe that having a strong connection is really important for successful therapy, so finding the right match is key. In our sessions, we’ll explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive environment, aiming for positive changes and personal growth.
As a therapist in Nashville, I am dedicated to helping you tackle life’s challenges and improve your overall well-being. Let’s take this first step together and see how we can make a difference in your life through therapy!
Should I go to therapy?
I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy in some way. Whether you have specific goals you would like to work on or simply need a space to understand what those goals might be, therapy can be incredibly beneficial. As a Nashville therapist, I’m dedicated to helping you explore your thoughts and feelings, guiding you toward greater self-awareness and personal growth.
Taking the first step and scheduling a phone consultation can feel scary for many people, but my goal is to make this process as comfortable as possible. I understand that the idea of opening up to someone new can be intimidating, so I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment right from the start.
During our initial consultation, we’ll have the opportunity to discuss your unique situation and any concerns you may have. If you have questions about what therapy might look like for you, please feel free to reach out. I’m here to provide clarity and reassurance about the process.
As your Nashville therapist, I want to ensure you feel confident and supported as you embark on this journey. Together, we can explore the challenges you’re facing and work toward meaningful changes in your life. Remember, taking this first step is a courageous move toward a healthier, happier you!
Do you accept insurance?
I currently do not accept insurance. I can provide a SuperBill, which is a receipt of our therapy sessions that you can provide to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
What is your fee?
My standard fee is $175. I do work on a sliding scale basis when my schedule allows for it. If you have any questions or concerns about payment for therapy, please reach out.
Where are you located?
My office is located in the Green Hills area of Nashville. My Nashville office is located at 2021 Richard Jones Road. Additionally, I provide tele-health services using a HIPAA compliant software system to ensure client confidentially.
